West Auckland Airport Company Ltd
The airport has been operating from Green Rd, Parakai since moving from Helensville in the 1960s. The West Auckland Airport Company has owned the property since 2005. Since then the facilities have continuously been improved, including building concrete taxiways, hard standing areas, hangars, an aviation engineering workshop, manager's house and ancillary buildings as well as sealing the runway.
West Auckland Airport, Parakai is the place to go if you want to jump out of a plane with Skydive Auckland. They have several great options including the highest tandem skydive in NZ at 18,000 feet.
If you would rather stay inside the plane you can book a test flight or a flight training package from our website.
If you are part of a flying club or even a single plane flying in our pilot lounge is available 24/7 with kitchen, toilets, shower, flight planning room and lounge. The Hall is available for events that are too large for the pilot lounge to handle.
